Women are the strength in our world. We don’t give up or crumble, although sometimes we are made to appear that way.

“Strong Women. Better World.” It’s more than just a catchy saying. It’s a way of understanding life. It’s an outgrowth of twenty years of international experience working alongside some of the most courageous and inspiring sportswomen around the world.

It is no small feat to change the way entire societies and governments treat women. Our own history in America has shown us this through our struggle for women’s property rights, suffrage, and equal opportunity in schools and the workplace.

In the Arab world, sport is the only outside force that has been able to influence an entire region, shift a whole country’s perception, and change the environment for women. The International Olympic Committee has been able to put into action what sanctions, watchdog human rights organizations, and UN declarations on women’s rights have failed to achieve. Why? Because the Middle East doesn’t need oil, they don’t need crates of food – but they do want to be eligible to compete in the Olympics. Sport has been and will continue to be an agent of change for women around the world.

You can help give women a voice.
